Blue was bred by Red and Denise Tatro and originally had been
sold to a home other than ours. The night the new family
was to take Blue home, Denise brought the puppy to handling
class where my mother watched and played with Blue while lessons
went were taught. By the night's end, the family had not
shown up and, long story short, Denise asked mom if she would
take the little blue brindle home to keep. He's been in
the IMa family ever since.
Blue is especially unique
as one side of his body is fawn and white while the other is
brindled fawn and white. The marking pattern never crosses
the mid-line of his body, and even his tail is split down the
center, fawn on one side; brindle on the other. The "do-da-day"
- as he is sometimes called - finished his AKC title with
relative ease. He went on to finish his ASFA Field
Championship and his AKC Senior Courser titles before completing
an International Shows title for the thrill of it.
