Semele is the pick of Diva's second litter born in 2006.
She is a lovely combination of her dam and sire, and we are
hopeful that others will find her as pleasing as we do.
Presently, she has earned all her required single points, one
five-point major and an amazing Hound Group I at the Town and
Country Kennel Club in Chicasha, OK. She was 11 months old
at the time. Now, we are in search of the final major, and
Semele is always breeder/owner handled from the Bred-By
Exhibitor class.
While waiting for AKC majors, Sealey has been pursuing her UKC
titles. She ended the year 2008 ranked as the #5 UKC
Whippet in competition. For 2009, she currently is ranked
as #4 through May She has finished her Championship and
her Grand Championship in short order. We will work to keep her in the top 10
for 2009 and look forward to this year's Top Ten Competition at
the UKC Premier in Kalamazoo, MI in June
Semele also
has completed her AKC Junior Courser title and is certified to
run ASFA. With her littermate's coursing injury in 2008,
we have been reluctant to put Semele on the competition field
before finishing her bench title. She has had opportunity
to play a little bit with the plastic bunny however and is a
keen enemy of the bag. We are excited to see her join in
title competition as soon as possible. Look for her in AKC,
ASFA and CWA competition soon.
